Rest Haven in Clarksdale

Family got takeout and it was a joy!

The food was good. The employees were nice and everything was neat and clean.

Best breakfast in Clarksdale. This place is a little different. The service can be very slow. Maybe I'm not used to the pace in Mississippi. The first time I came for breakfast I ordered my breakfast with coffee. The waitress went around the room filling people's coffee, but didn't bring me a cup. My friend told me I should get my own coffee, which I do now. Other people get their own coffee as well. When you get your coffee, you should walk around the room asking people if they want a fill-up. One time there were about 15 cops there having breakfast. One cop walked around the room giving away donuts.

Kibbe and pies!!!!!! Dont skip ether of those and Paula is the sweetest!

So excited to see a locally owned restaurant doing well. The food was excellent and the menu was extensive. I would absolutely eat here again if we are ever in the area. The rotel chicken (chicken spaghetti) was excellent and I had plenty of food to being home for dinner.

Great place to eat family own business that has been here before i was born Ms Patty still looks the same and the food was great.. Had breakfast with two of my bestfriends got to see a lot of people that i haven't seen in 20plus years

Great food. Service is a little slow but the food is worth the wait. I recommend the gyros, grape leaves and the coconut pie.The coconut pie is unlike any coconut pie you will ever eat (it's a must have) We like it so much we order it for every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Resthaven is a town staple and family owned restaurant.

The very best coconut pie I have ever eaten anywhere. The Lasanga was very good.

The place just serves great food

Love their chili burgers with dry slaw. Have to stop when visiting Clarksdale. Grew up eating them. I ordered their mile high coconut cream pie. So delicious, I ate the whole thing by myself.

Always love the food at Rest Haven, plus Mrs Paula and Mr Paul are great people.

It is a Greek Italian restaurant but they make really good cheeseburgers.

Food Simply Nasty! The restaurant was filthy and I don't know how they pass inspection.

Food was not impressive. Veal was 1/4 thick and breaded similar to a chicken fried steak sandwich sonic carried years ago. Drafty windows and dirty. The staff were changing fluorescent light tubes right over our table with dust falling everywhere. Fan blades were thick with dust/grime. Won't be back.

I stopped here a few years ago for lunch and was warmly welcomed and enjoyed the food. I wish I’d put up a review earlier. Would recommend to anyone passing through Clarksdale.

Sorry, but did not enjoy our gyros. Tortillas instead of pitas, and a lemon sour cream sauce instead of tziziki. Cleanliness rating was B. Probably won't return.

It seems like this place needs help all the time. The food is not what I expected given the crowd.

Great lunch plate with chicken, dressing, green beans, creamy potatoes with gravy, cornbread and banana pudding. Sweet tea was good too.

Best kept secret. Just discovered this place after 7 spring break trips. Food was awesome. Don’t leave without having a piece of pie!!! Today’s choices were coconut and chocolate. I’ll be back.
